Charlize Theron is a South African-born Oscar-winning actress and producer, one of the most acclaimed performers of her generation. She was honored at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Oct. 17, 2026, alongside John Carpenter and Colman Domingo, at a ceremony featuring a performance by Taylor Swift. The gala appearance came just hours before Swift’s much-photographed return to the Chiefs suite at Arrowhead the next afternoon.
