A bye week is a scheduled week off in the NFL season, giving a team rest and recovery time before resuming play. The Kansas City Chiefs returned from their Week 5 bye to face the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead on Oct. 18, 2026. The rested Chiefs had Taylor Swift back in the suite for the occasion, and Travis Kelce marked the return with a 24-yard reception that lit up the stadium.
