A result decided directly by fans rather than judges or editors. The Readers’ Choice Poll is built entirely on audience votes, which is what makes Joaquin Consuelos’s Sexiest Broadway Debut win meaningful: theatre-goers and readers chose him in numbers, whatever his mother was doing with her own single, traitorous, much-discussed ballot on the family sofa.
