Stefani celebrated her 57th trip around the sun on Saturday, Oct. 3, and the Grammy-winning pop star’s husband Blake Shelton marked the occasion by sharing a series of romantic pics to Instagram alongside a sweet note.
The country star included pictures of himself and Stefani spending time together, posing in a cornfield, embracing at a party and more. In the caption, Shelton, 50, wrote, “The best there is!!!!!! Everyone wish @gwenstefani a happy birthday!!!! I love you pretty girl!!!”
Over the weekend, Stefani took to her Instagram Stories and shared a video of her birthday gift from Shelton — a sparkly necklace featuring the number “11,” a.k.a. the number of years they’ve been together.
The couple first met as coaches on The Voice in 2014, began dating in November 2015 and tied the knot in July 2021.
In July, Shelton shared photos from their wedding via Instagram to celebrate the spouses’ anniversary. “5 years and every day is better than the last,” he wrote at the time. “I love you @gwenstefani SHELTON!!!! Happy anniversary my pretty girl!!!!”
Stefani also posted wedding footage on Instagram at the time to mark the occasion and referred to Shelton as “my forever.”
Last month, the couple shared news that their 18-year-old dog Betty died. “It’s with the heaviest hearts that we share our sweet Betty has gone to heaven,” wrote Stefani on Instagram.
She shared a clip of herself and Shelton, as well as Stefani’s kids Zuma, Apollo and Kingston, playing with Betty as well as some of her public appearances — including the dog’s cameo in the couple’s “Nobody but You” music video.
“She made us all smile for 18 years … we’re going to miss her forever. Thank you Betty for all the love and joy you brought into our lives,” Stefani wrote.
