A vanilla wedding cake is the classic centrepiece of a reception dessert table. Shane Profitt and Chloe Crawford served a multi-tiered vanilla cake with almond icing and chocolate layers after a buffet feast at their Nashville wedding. The cake closed a menu of Southern comfort dishes, from honey balsamic chicken to smoked gouda mac and cheese, for their 126 guests.
