A 2025 thriller miniseries starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks, The Better Sister is adapted from Alafair Burke's bestselling novel. Biel plays Chloe, a successful magazine editor whose carefully built life cracks open after a family tragedy. The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video in May 2025 to strong streaming numbers.
The role continues Biel's post-Sinner run as a dramatic lead, showing the industry that her Emmy-nominated breakthrough was no one-off — she has become one of television's most reliable thriller stars.
