Casting Director

A casting director is the professional responsible for finding and recommending the actors who populate a production. Working from the script and the director’s vision, they organise auditions, review thousands of performers, and assemble combinations whose chemistry can carry a story. Great casting directors are talent scouts and psychologists at once, and their choices often determine whether a film feels inevitable or miscast.
