Celebrity Privacy

The right of public figures to keep parts of their lives — relationships, weddings, family — outside public consumption, however famous they are. Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding is the defining recent example: total fame, total privacy, simultaneously. Law Roach’s comments illuminate the cost and the reward of that stance from inside the couple’s innermost circle. Their example is now regularly cited whenever other famous couples discuss boundaries with the press.
