Electric fence insulators are the small fittings that hold a fence’s wires apart from its posts — in Jurassic Park, part of the barrier meant to contain the dinosaurs. In this story, they became a family project in miniature: the Warners’ middle son helped 3D-print the parts and assemble the insulators, a detail most visitors would never notice and the family refused to skip.
