The acclaimed limited series following a decades-long love affair between two men through the Lavender Scare, Vietnam era and AIDS crisis, starring Jonathan Bailey opposite Matt Bomer. It proved his range stretched far beyond romance-novel charm, and it remains a landmark in his argument for being taken seriously as a dramatic actor.
