A gold wedding band is a simple ring, traditionally worn on the left ring finger, symbolizing marriage. Blake Griffin's plain gold band became the accidental announcement of his wedding: throughout October 2026 he was photographed wearing it at the NBA on Prime launch event, at the screening of his talk show The Stepback, and alongside Francesca Aiello at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show — weeks of "ring watch" that ended only when his representative confirmed the marriage.
Unlike an engagement ring, the plain band is worn daily — which is exactly why Griffin's was impossible to miss.
