"Lob City" was the nickname of the early-2010s Los Angeles Clippers, built around Chris Paul's alley-oop passes to Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. The high-flying trio turned the long-suffering Clippers into the NBA's most entertaining team, filling highlight reels nightly and selling out arenas. Griffin was the face of it: five straight All-Star selections and a third-place MVP finish in 2014.

The era never reached a conference final, and Griffin's 2018 trade to Detroit closed the Lob City chapter. The nickname outlived the roster and still defines how fans remember that Clippers era today.
