A music tour is a scheduled series of live shows across cities, the economic engine of most artists’ careers. Eden Joel’s professional life is touring: he has played with Stephen Sanchez and Briston Maroney and is currently on the road with Medium Build. Tours also explain how creative circles overlap — shared bills, shared players and shared cities — which is how a Nashville touring musician plausibly enters Emma Chamberlain’s orbit.
