Nobu is the upscale Japanese restaurant group co-founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, with a celebrity-magnet Malibu location overlooking the Pacific. Nobu Malibu holds a place in Blake Griffin and Francesca Aiello's story: in June 2018, the pair was spotted leaving the restaurant together, sparking the first reports that they were dating. Days later, they were photographed kissing on a Malibu beach — the beginning of an on-and-off romance that ended in marriage eight years later.
Its Malibu outpost, on the Pacific Coast Highway, is one of the most paparazzi-watched dining rooms in California.
