"Orbit" is a song performed by Miley Cyrus during her Bass Persuades era concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in October 2026. The song entered pop history for what happened before it: Cyrus confessed to the crowd that, moments earlier backstage, she had told herself she was not going to come on stage at all — that she wanted to run away. She stayed, she explained, because she would never leave thousands of seated fans unfulfilled.

Her honesty about the fear behind "Orbit" became one of the defining stories of her sold-out Los Angeles weekend.
