The Emmy category honouring the finest supporting performance in a drama series, won by Tom Pelphrey in September 2026 for Task. Accepting the award weeks before becoming a father of two, Pelphrey used his moment to talk about the family side of his life — the room-swapping preparations at home and his gratitude that Kaley Cuoco and the baby were healthy. The trophy and the newborn made for a remarkable few weeks.
