Perspex is a brand name for acrylic glass, a clear, lightweight plastic often used as a shatter-resistant alternative to glass. Clear Perspex phone cases are popular because they show off a phone’s design while protecting it. Tatum Thompson used a clear Perspex case as the blank canvas for his creation, layering it with purple clay and tiny figurines until the transparent cover became a miniature sculpture his mom proudly displayed on social media.
