The secret broadcast is the mysterious heart of Daniel Pinkwater’s Lizard Music: a hidden late-night transmission in which lizards play otherworldly music, discovered by a young boy and unknown to the adult world. In Benny Safdie’s film adaptation, the broadcast anchors a story about childhood curiosity and the magic hidden inside ordinary life. Dwayne Johnson plays The Chicken Man, the eccentric figure connected to the mystery, filmed in grey-haired disguise on the Coney Island set in 2026.
