Shin Young-kyun is one of South Korea's most respected veteran screen actors and a noted patron of the arts — and he is also EJAE's grandfather. He once lived in the house at the Seoul venue where his granddaughter married Sam Kim in October, and the young EJAE spent childhood days walking with him in the hills behind it.
Her choice of wedding venue was, in part, a tribute to the man whose artistic life preceded her own.
