The NBA Slam Dunk Contest is the All-Star Weekend showcase where players compete for the most spectacular dunks. Blake Griffin's 2011 victory is one of its most replayed moments: in the final, he leapt clear over the hood of a Kia sedan to catch an alley-oop from Baron Davis, as a gospel choir sang courtside. The stunt made Griffin a household name overnight, and the famous car was later donated to a charity auction for Stand Up to Cancer.
Griffin beat JaVale McGee in the final, in a contest still ranked among the event's all-time best.
