A trailer is a short preview video released before a film or television series to build excitement and show audiences what to expect. The trailer for the MGM+ docuseries New Wave gives a first taste of the series, mixing star interviews with vintage performance footage of 1980s acts. It is carried by the Go-Go’s hit We Got the Beat, and features Billy Idol’s memorable line about the fashion and sound giving fans a sense of freedom.
