Tulle is a fine, lightweight netting fabric, usually made from silk, nylon or rayon, prized in bridal fashion for its ability to hold sculptural volume while appearing to float. Designers layer it to build skirts that move like clouds — exactly the effect Danielle Frankel created for EJAE's custom wedding gown.
The fabric's romantic softness also balanced the dress's more daring details, including its strapless neckline and playful bubble hem, giving the bride her requested mix of classic and twisted.
