Concern with one’s appearance — the motive Sharon Osbourne has always given, with unusual honesty, for her decades of cosmetic surgery. ‘Vanity. Ego. Oh, you look great for your age,’ she said when asked why she underwent a third facelift in 2021. Her refusal to dress the motive up is central to why her regrets carry credibility. She delivered the admission without embarrassment, treating honesty about vanity as its own kind of dignity.
