Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle, in Berkshire, is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and a principal royal residence for nearly a thousand years. It hosted the October 20, 2026 official welcome for Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman, including the Royal Dais ceremony, carriage procession and state banquet rituals. Its combination of fortress, palace and family home makes it the monarchy’s favorite stage for state hospitality.
