Sam Kim is a music producer best known publicly as the longtime partner — now husband — of singer EJAE. The two met in 2017 when they were paired for a songwriting session, and their working relationship grew into a romance. Kim has remained a deliberately private figure through EJAE's fame, though his voice is secretly featured in the layered harmonies of "What It Sounds Like," recorded in her Brooklyn apartment.
The couple engaged in fall 2023 and married in Seoul on October 17.
