The Police were a British trio — Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers — who rose from the late-1970s punk and new wave scene to become one of the biggest bands in the world. Blending rock with reggae and jazz, they scored huge hits including Roxanne, Every Breath You Take and Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic. Drummer Stewart Copeland shares the band’s story in the MGM+ docuseries New Wave, premiering Nov. 23, 2026.
