The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, based in Cleveland, Ohio, honors the most influential artists in rock and popular music with annual inductions. Several stars of the new wave era have been inducted, including The Police, Talking Heads and the Go-Go’s, whose 2021 induction recognized their groundbreaking success. Membership is considered one of music’s highest honors. Many inductees’ stories are revisited in New Wave, the MGM+ docuseries premiering Nov. 23, 2026.
