Seoul is the capital and largest city of South Korea, home to more than nine million people and the center of the country's entertainment industry. It is where EJAE was born in 1991, where she trained as a teenager at SM Entertainment, and where she returned on October 17 to marry Sam Kim at Stage 28 — in a garden at her grandparents' former home.
The city also hosted her Academy Awards celebration press conference in April 2026.
