The Academy Awards — the Oscars — are the film industry's most prestigious honors, presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. At the 98th Academy Awards, KPop Demon Hunters scored a rare double victory: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Golden," co-written and performed by EJAE.
She performed the song live at the ceremony with Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, in a staging that celebrated Korean traditional music.
