NEED TO KNOW
Bre Tiesi is opening up about the one boundary she won’t compromise on in her relationship with Nick Cannon.
During a conversation with Angela Yee on the Lip Service podcast, the Selling Sunset alum spoke about her feelings for Cannon and described him as her life partner.
Despite their close connection, Tiesi revealed there is one dealbreaker that could lead her to walk away.
Bre Tiesi has revealed the one boundary that could change her future with Nick Cannon: him having another child.
Speaking with Angela Yee on the Lip Service podcast, the Selling Sunset alum discussed their relationship and her love for Cannon, whom she considers her life partner. The pair share a son, Legendary Love.
Tiesi explained that her concern comes down to time and attention. With Cannon already raising a large family, she feels another baby would stretch his commitments further.
She also reflected on her own struggle to balance motherhood with her career, admitting that she sometimes feels guilty about having limited time. For Tiesi, expanding the family again could be the point at which she decides to leave the relationship.
Nick Cannon has welcomed 12 children with six women, including his son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi.
He and his former wife, Mariah Carey, share twins Moroccan and Monroe. With Brittany Bell, he has sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah, along with daughter Powerful Queen. Cannon and Abby De La Rosa share twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin. He also shares daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon welcomed two children with Alyssa Scott: son Zen and daughter Halo Marie, who was born on December 14, 2022. Zen tragically died from brain cancer in December 2021 when he was five months old.
In a March 2025 interview with PEOPLE, Cannon said he planned to pause having more children while focusing on his existing family. He explained that he was enjoying his current stage of life and acknowledged the financial responsibilities of raising a large family.
Although another baby was not in his immediate plans, Cannon left the possibility open, saying his outlook could change in three to five years.
Cannon also explained that he had once felt certain he was finished having children, but later reconsidered making such a firm decision. Becoming a father of 12 was never something he had anticipated. Still, his love for children and satisfaction with his life left him open to the possibility of having more.
Meanwhile, Tiesi discussed her approach to co-parenting during an appearance on E!’s Hot Goss with hosts Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts. She clarified that she does not coordinate parenting as one collective arrangement with Cannon and the mothers of his other children. Instead, she focuses on her own situation while making an effort to remain friendly

Tiesi acknowledged that navigating Cannon’s extended family comes with challenges. Although she would welcome a closer connection, she said difficult relationships with the other mothers have made that hard, despite her attempts to find common ground.
She still wants Legendary to build strong bonds with his siblings. To support those connections, Tiesi explained that she intends to step back from tensions between the adults. In her view, Cannon needs to take the lead in bringing his children together and creating an environment where their relationships can grow.
As for having another child herself, Tiesi made her position clear: she has no plans to expand her family. She said Legendary already has 11 siblings to spend time with, and she is finished having children.
